Woodworking Basics: Build a Birdhouse (Canceled)

To get a handle on the basics of woodworking, in this two hour workshop we will build a birdhouse that you can take home, using common hand tools. Beginners welcome! Ages 13+
Concepts that we will cover will include:
● Measuring and Marking
● Identifying and using basic hand tools
○ Using a Circular Saw
○ Using a Drill
○ Using a Tape Measure
● Planning the project on paper
● Cutting the parts to size
● Clamping and fastening
○ Glue options
○ Fasteners (screws, Nails, Glue)
● Sanding and Finishing
Fee for the workshop is $20- and you take home your bird house! Space is limited to five participants, so sign up soon.
