With the adoption of the latest core Science standards, many teachers are grasping to find programs that provide hands-on engineering and technical skills for their students. Robotics Clubs can help provide these skills in a fun and meaningful way. This in-service will concentrate more on the application of the latest LEGO Mindstorm EV3 platform and how to incorporate it with the current 4-H Robotics curriculum. We will also be looking at how to take classroom and club learning to the next level by establishing FIRST LEGO League and RCX Robotics teams and strategies for cross curriculum programming (4-H Communications and Entrepreneurship).
